- 2021 Season: Junior Sean Gannon of the Central Connecticut men's soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches All-North Region honors it was announced on Tuesday. Gannon was named to the Second Team. The teams are selected through voting by member coaches.

- Gannon, a native of Coventry, CT, captained the Blue Devils and started all seven games. He led the team with seven points and three assists, to go along with a pair of goals. Gannon was 2-for-2 on penalty kicks this season, and he had a pair of games with a goal and an assist (vs. Mount St. Mary's, vs. FDU). Gannon has started all 39 career games at CCSU, while notching four goals and four assists.
- CCSU finished the season at 3-3-1 and was in the hunt for a NEC championship game berth until the final game of the campaign. CCSU finished with a win percentage of .500 or better for the first time since 2013 and had four All-NEC honorees following the season.
- 2019: Team Captain…Started and played in 14 games…Had nine shots on the season…Had two shots in his first start of the year against UMass (9/14).
- 2018: Started the season-opener against Seton Hall (8/28) before suffering a season-ending injury and being given a medical hardship.
- 2017: Named to the Northeast Conference All-Rookie Team… Started all 17 games and tallied two goals and one assist… Scored the lone goal for CCSU in 1-1 ties against Fairleigh Dickinson (10/22) and Saint Joseph’s (9/30)… Assisted on Central’s first goal in a 3-1 win at Howard (9/13)… Helped CCSU to two wins at the Peter Baldwin Memorial Classic and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team... Named the #38 prospect on New England Soccer Journal Top 40 New England prospects in Division 1 men's soccer.
- Before CCSU: Played for head coach Paul Strycharz at Coventry High School...Three-time All-State (2014, 2015, 2016)...Four-time all-conference...Named All-New England in 2015 and 2016...Earned All-America honors in 2016...Named MVP of state championship after leading team to Class S State Championship in 2016...Earned a Class S Runner-up finish in 2015...Played club soccer for FSA FC and helped team to a Disney Soccer Showcase championship.
